For more than 175 years, our hospital takes responsibility for the healthcare needs of the people of Beckum and its surrounding areas. In our Surgery Department, Geriatric Department, Department for Internal Medicine, and Geriatric and Urologic Department we provide modern treatment and the careful service of our more than 400 nurses, doctors, medical and administrative staff. Our highly trained A&E and critical care staff uses their departments’ latest technology to save lives and take care of patients with critical injuries. Every year, more than 7,900 in-patients and 15,000 out-patients use our professional healthcare services.

The city of Beckum (www.beckum.de) is located within the meadows of the Münsterland which are famous for the many cyclists, locals and tourists alike. A multitude of cultural offers, schools for children of all ages, and a wide range of shopping and leisure facilities make Beckum an attractive town for working and living. The cities of Münster, Dortmund, and Bielefeld with their universities are easy to get to by train or bus within under an hour. For our international healthcare professionals, we provide several shared-living and fully equipped flats within walking distance of the hospital.
